SMS Messaging Terms & Opt-In

Effective date: June 1, 2026 — Program: Pulse ED Operational Notifications

1. About Pulse ED & this messaging program

Pulse ED (pulseed.xyz) is a scheduling and operations platform used by hospital emergency departments. This SMS program sends operational text messages to enrolled staff (physicians, advanced practice clinicians, facility medical directors, and administrators) and lets those staff text operational notes into the platform. It is a private, staff-facing program; we do not send marketing or promotional messages, and we do not message the general public.

2. How you opt in (consent workflow)

  1. A user is enrolled in Pulse ED by their healthcare organization and creates an account at pulseed.xyz.
  2. In their account profile, the user enters their own mobile phone number.
  3. To receive SMS, the user must actively check a consent checkbox that is unchecked by default — SMS is never enabled automatically. Checking the box records the user’s express consent.
  4. No text messages are sent to any number that has not completed this opt-in. SMS consent is not a condition of employment or of any purchase.

3. The exact consent language

The opt-in checkbox in the user’s profile (unchecked by default) reads:

4. Message types & frequency

Frequency varies with your organization’s scheduling activity — typically a few messages per week, plus replies to messages you send.

5. Opt-out & help

Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages at any time; reply HELP for help, or contact support@pulseed.xyz. Message & data rates may apply.

6. Privacy

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are used only to deliver these operational messages and are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
